Description
Entwine is a social media outlet designed to bring internet forums together under one roof. Users can create and administer Communities, each of which has its own front page that can be customized by admins. Communities each have their own regulations in addition to Entwine's terms of use, and accounts can be blacklisted at the discretion of community mods. Communities can also be set to whitelist, allowing them to gatekeep.

Communities can be further divided into channels, and channels can also be divided into channels, should one wish. While any post has a home channel, it can be tagged into multiple, and the post will appear across channels. Posts can be commented on in a branching reply style, like many internet forums.

The feature users appreciate most is seamless post embedding within communities. Posts can be linked as replies to another post, and instead of forcing you between pages, it simply embeds itself like any other reply, giving itself an orange highlighted border and allowing you to click/press to expand it's tree of replies. Because of this design, threads of conversation can weave around each other with intuitive links, allowing a user to better track the flow of conversation. While posts between communities can be linked to, they do not embed themselves in this manner by design.

For ease of access when users wish to retain anonymity within some communities, multiple accounts can be linked together under one session. At any time, you may switch your default account as well as defaults for specific communities, your separate accounts register to the different communities. No one may see what accounts are linked to others.
